The Harley-Davidson Company or HD has been around for just more than 100 years. It all began with two friends in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1903. William S. Harley stands for the H in HD. Arthur Davidson is one of three D's. The other two D's getting his brothers, Walter and William Davidson.
